PADI Diving Courses

The first step to becoming a certified diver!

The PADI Open Water Diver Course is one of our most popular courses and is recognised
worldwide.
This Beginner level scuba diving course teaches you everything you need to know about diving
safely, the equipment you need for diving, how to plan a dive and most of all how to relax and
have FUN in the water!!
Successful completion of this course will qualify you to dive independently (with a buddy) to a
maximum depth of 18 meters anywhere in the world.

  • No prior experience of scuba diving is required although you do need to be able to
    swim and will need to be in good overall physical health;
  • The minimum age for the Open Water Course is 10 years old;
  • The duration of this course is 3 to 4 days.
The Open Water Course includes:
  • Knowledge Development;
  • Confined Water Training. Confined water training means you will be having fun in the
    water but not out in the open sea just yet. We will take you to Las Vistas Beach to
    complete this training whilst you gain confidence and enjoy your first diving
    experience;
  • Open Water dives from the beach and boat;
  • Insurance, use of our equipment, study material (book, DVD and logbook – all yours to
    keep) and your PADI Open Water Diver license.

The course will be led by Enrique or Giedre and you will always receive our personal attention.

Have you achieved your Open Water Certification? If so then this course will allow you to advance your skills and knowledge through different Adventure Dives.

The Advanced Open Water Diver course helps you increase your confidence and build your scuba skills so you can become more comfortable in the water and familiar with different aspects of diving. Upon completion of this course you will be qualified to dive to a depth of 30 meters.

  • You can take this course if have a PADI Open Water or equivalent license;
  • The minimum age for this course is 12 years old;
  • The course takes 2 to 3 days to complete.

The Advanced Open Water Course includes:

  • Knowledge Development
  • Five open water dives, two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and three other Adventure Dives of your choosing;
  • PADI Advanced Open Water Manual and DVD;
  • Use of our equipment;
  • PADI Certification.

The course will be led by Enrique or Giedre and you will always receive our personal attention.

This course is something special, not only does it teach you to become a safer diver but also to focus on the safety and welfare of other divers. It will teach you to recognise potential issues early, how to prevent a possible diving accident and how to respond if one occurs. The course emphasises flexibility and teaches you how to adapt to challenging personal and environmental conditions. This course will greatly expand your knowledge and experience level, Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and wellbeing of other divers.

Although this course is challenging, it is also rewarding and a great way to build your confidence in the water. Rescue Diver training will prepare you both to prevent potential problems and if necessary, manage dive emergencies. Many divers say this is the best course they’ve ever taken!

To take this course you need:

  • To be qualified to PADI Advanced Open Water Diver level or have an equivalent qualifying certification from another organisation;
  • To hold a current (attended within the last 2 years) First Aid qualification which includes CPR;
  • Be a minimum of 12 years old;
  • 3 to 4 days to complete the course.
The PADI Rescue Diver course includes:
  • Rescue Diver Crew Pack (Book and DVD);
  • Knowledge Development;
  • 5 training and dives at Las Vistas Beach;
  • Use of our equipment;
  • PADI Certification.

The PADI Divemaster course is your first level of professional training. In this course you will expand your dive knowledge and hone your skills to a professional level. PADI Divemaster training will develop your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.

A PADI Divemaster is the prerequisite certification for both the PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications. To take the PADI Dive Master course you need:

  • To be 18 years old;
  • To have 2 to 3 weeks to complete the course;
  • To be qualified as a PADI Rescue Diver or hold a qualifying equivalent certification from another training organization;
  • To hold an Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care certificate or qualifying First Aid and CPR certificate from another organization, no more than 2 years old;
  • Have at least 40 dives to begin the course and 60 for certification;
  • To be fit for diving – you will need and submit a Medical Statement signed by a physician.

Divemaster training covers many topics and workshops, such as:

  • The role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster;
  • Supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers;
  • Diver safety and risk management;
  • Divemaster conducted programs and specialised skills;
  • The business of diving and your career;
  • Awareness of the dive environment;
  • Dive setup and management;
  • Mapping an open water site;
  • Conducting dive briefings;
  • Organizing a search and recovery project and a deep dive;
  • Conducting a scuba review and skin diver course;
  • Assisting with Discover Scuba Diving and leading Discover Local Diving programs.
The Divemaster Course includes:
  • Knowledge Development;
  • Water skills exercises and workshops;
  • Practical Skills;
  • Dives from boat and beach;
  • Use of our equipment if needed.

The Divemaster Crew-Pack is not included and should be purchased separately, the Divemaster application fee and certification fee is paid directly to a PADI.
